Wanderlust

I want to take you through my journey of where it all began. A southern born, eastern raised, midwestern grown girl who has traveled since the ages. My love to travel & explore only grew with each passing year. The strong sense of seeking my passion & seeing what the world has to offer. My goal is to share with you all of my experiences throughout the United States & different countries I have traveled too.

Many road trips, many airplane rides, many states, & many sites flash throughout my memories since I was a young girl. Traveling from Virginia with my family to the Midwest where we planted our roots and I finally knew what it was like to grow up around family and truly experience what life has to offer. I remember traveling to Virginia beach many times throughout my young years where my love for the beach grew. The feel of the soft sand between my toes, and the hot sun beaming on my face, and the sound of the crashing waves through my ears. Growing up in the Midwest is the complete opposite. You are engulfed with smells of fresh cut hay, cows in the pasture, laughter running through the cornfield and many field parties growing up. What true country music is made of.

I learned to embrace my surroundings and be thankful for the love surrounding me but was still never able to shake the feeling of being incomplete. While the Midwest is great in it's own ways, my heart still longed for the beach. When I started a family of my own, I knew the opportunity to leave was never an option. We started roots here, family is here, and all the hard work I put into life was here. If you have ever experienced a Midwest winter, you will understand the longing to wanna hightail it out of here. That is when we decided to make it a priority to go on an adventure at least once a year out of the country. Ever since our Honeymoon in 2020 we quickly found the passion in traveling and exploring somewhere new. The excitement of getting up at 4 am to get to the airport, the sound of your luggage rolling across the floor, to the dings in the cabin alerting you of take off. If there is one thing I always tell my friends & family is travel while you can, money comes and goes but our time is not infinite.
